At almost 40, Xavier Dupré is one of the most prolific French type designers, whose work is widely distributed. His typefaces, featured in eminent foundries’ catalogues (Emigre, FontBureau, FontFont, Typofonderie) demonstrate a personal quest for type design, fuelled with calligraphic and humanistic influences, but also with a sensitivity permeable to various locations where he settled his activity. This book contains an interview by Julien Gineste and is filled with mostly unpublished material.
