What is your return policy?

We are unable to offer refunds for change of mind. An item can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date if it is received in as-new condition (sealed if originally so, no scuffs, dents or wear etc.) for an exchange or store credit. Please note the value of the store credit / exchange is only for the value of the item returned and does not include the value of shipping. If the item needs to be shipped back to Perimeter, this is to be done at the customer’s expense, and it is the customer’s responsibility to correctly package the item so it is not damaged in transit. Sale items are firm sale and cannot be returned.


How do I exchange an item?

If your return matches the criteria above, just send us an email via hello@perimeterbooks.com stating the reason for your exchange, and we’ll go from there.


How are your orders shipped?

I have a gift voucher code but want to apply a discount code – why can’t I do this?

Unfortunately, gift vouchers are subject to the sales conditions at the time of purchase, not at the time of redeeming.

 

I would like to buy a book online but I would prefer not to use PayPal – how do I do this?

While our online checkout system will redirect you to PayPal, you don't need to use a PayPal account to purchase items online. Once redirected to PayPal, you can opt to use a credit card instead when prompted.

 

Do you take submissions for stocking books?

We always love to see what’s going on in the world of publishing (big and small), so if you would like to share your publications with us, please send the details to hello@perimeterbooks.com. Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we can only respond to those we are interested in learning more about. Please note that as we specialise in art, photography and design books, the majority of fiction / poetry books that are submitted are not quite right for us here at Perimeter.


Do you stock secondhand books?

No.


Are you a printing service?

Nope! We are a publisher, not a printer (often confused). While we work with printers to produce our books, we do not work with printing equipment ourselves, and cannot provide quotes or advice on printing projects.


Do you take submissions for publishing work?

Again, we love to see what people are working on, so we encourage you to send through potential publishing projects to hello@perimetereditions.com. Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we can only respond to those we are interested in learning more about.


Can you offer feedback on my publication / project?

While we always love chatting books, we’re a Very Small Team trying to Get A Lot Done. As such, we often don’t have the time to give detailed feedback on publications, book proposals or art / photography projects.

I’m looking for a particular book – what if I can’t see it on your website?

Contact us via hello@perimeterbooks.com or +61 3 9484 8101. Depending on the book, we may be able to order it in for you, or it may be still on its way to the shop.


I’m a retailer who would like to stock your books – how do I go about this?
