The Museum Is Not Enough is a platform by the CCA to question the evolving role of cultural institutions. It challenges the idea that museums can still claim authority over knowledge and meaning, asking instead what they should do – and for whom. Issues no. 10–14 continue the 2019 volume, featuring conversations with curators, artists, and scholars on unlearning established norms, rethinking public engagement, and using tools like film to merge research and display. At its heart, the project calls for museums to step outside fixed roles and embrace dialogue, change, and context beyond their walls.
