Alphabetica Archaeologica is a poetic typography book by Sammy-Rose Scapens. Printed on risograph, the publication dissects the alphabet to examine "the magic and mystery of the alphabetical world", as stated within its opening pages. Proposing that human experience is shaped by the letters of the alphabet, the publication is a mixture of imagined historical accounts and pervious alphabetical imaginings from philosophers, academics, writers, artists and mystics.
