Though he made a name as an illustrator for teen books and magazines in the UK during the 1950s and 1960s, Spanish artist and illustrator Juan S. Puyal (b. 1936) found his career's defining thread working in the domain of sexual fetishism. His illustrations for London's Swish Publications – the publisher ofMADAME in a World of Fantasy – brought him great fame and regard in his somewhat saucy field. PUYAL in World of Fantasy, published Ommu Books (Athens), is the first collection of works from the period.
