The somewhat disturbing series Drawings sees a distinct departure in visual style for NYC-based Danish artist Asger Carlsen. Where earlier bodies of work were unmistakably from the lens of a camera,Drawings leaves few clues as to whether Carlsen has abandoned a photographic practice altogether, as the reader is presented with images whose material composition seems to comprise marble, clay, cellophane and raw meat.
