Fotomuseum Winterthur in Switzerland is one of the key photography-centric institutions of the past 25 years. To celebrate its anniversary, 25 people selected a work from the United States each. The book sheds light on the period when the museum was founded and on the history of the institution, which has been characterised by a sense of adventure and a willingness to take risks. It also provides a photographer's view of the Anniversary – Anne Morgenstern took photo portraits of 25 museum employees, from technicians through to management staff. In that respect the publication also looks at the museum's prospects for development and evolution.
