A subtle, quietly unfurling artist's book, Catalogue Raisonné (Clichés) examines the semantic possibilities of its title, with artist Inga Kerber compiling a condensed overview of her vast archives by curating a series of images according to classic, clichéd photographic categories: landscape, still life, portrait, nude. The artist chose the subjects, scanned the originals, printed them and arranged them into series. Shifts in colour or small flaws that appeared in the process of reproduction were not retouched, but rather acknowledged as a quality in themselves. Beautifully produced and published by Spector Books (Leipzig).
