Surface Disorder / Superfície Desordem is the first publication dedicated to the practice of Jonathan Uliel Saldanha (b. 1979, Paris), a central figure in the Portuguese art scene, both in exploratory music, performance, and visual arts. Published on the occasion of Jonathan Uliel Saldanha’s solo exhibition at Galeria Municipal do Porto, the book delves into the artist’s practice, characterised by the intersection of sound, movement, voice, stage, and film. It features essays and diagrams by the artist and long-time collaborators, among others.

The book is co-published by Galeria Municipal do Porto and Mousse Publishing.
