Images Fall Short asks nine non-native photographers to survey Catalunya. Their foreign gaze draws attention to the unfamiliar, decentring well-established accounts of the spaces we inhabit. Interwoven, articles and conversations explore how architectural images function after—or despite—digital photography. Together, they remind us that images are our utmost political tool and the ultimate architectural document. This issue is dedicated to them, our favourite semi-autonomous totem.
