[SEMINAR] TRANSLATION INTO CONTENT AND FORM WITH PERIMETER
Translation into Concept and Form is a 4-hour seminar concerned about the ways in which visual content is expressed in a book form.

Together with the Co-Directors and Editors of Perimeter, participants will consider the relationship between images, text, design and materials within the parameters of the book structure. This seminar will offer insights into how various elements can work together to communicate a cohesive idea.

Participants should bring along images and materials from ongoing projects to discuss approaches in expanding a work-in-progress into a book worthy of publishing.

[TALK] PUBLISHING AS PRACTICE: PERIMETER EDITIONS X TEMPORARY PRESS
Perimeter Books from Melbourne and Temporary Press from Singapore are separated by continents, yet connected by multiple commonalities — they are both independent publishers run by husband-and-wife duos, who recognise publishing as extensions of their creative practices. Dan Rule, Justine Ellis, Gideon Kong and Jamie Yeo meet for the first time to exchange notes on collaborations with artists in bookmaking, sustainability in operating physical bookstores and studios, and how they find balance in the confluence of creativity, business and life while growing a family as life partners.
